Most of the equipment in our cider mill dates between 1870 and 1910, and it's a real treat to operate it every fall!

Custom Cider Pressing

Apple pressing occurs on Saturdays during the month of October. We press apples by appointment only! Please call Laurissa at (845) 586-2707, text her cell phone at 518-965-5762, or email to schedule a time.  Appointments made with anyone other than Laurissa may not be honored! A minimum of 5 bushels is needed for a pressing. Visitors are always welcome when we are pressing.


We charge a pressing fee of $25.00 per pressing plus $3.00 per gallon of cider pressed.  We encourage customers to bring their own clean containers. If you don't have your own containers, please let us know at the time of scheduling so we can make arrangements. There is an extra charge of $1.00 per container if we supply them.

The quantity of juice varies with the type and quality of apples, but a bushel will usually produce somewhere between 2 to 4 gallons of juice.  On average, 5 bushels will yield about 15 gallons of fresh cider (apple juice).
